KATE AND THE MAPLE FOREST

Every spring is unique, even if at times it feels similar to the one before. There are always new people who bring their own emotions into it. With each new person, autumn gains its own special shade of gold, because for me, the time spent with them is the most valuable part of life.

This time, Kate and I, like real little witches, managed to disperse the clouds and push the rain away. We warmed the autumn park with the warmth of our conversation, laughed under the singing of birds, gathered bouquets of maple leaves, and read books aloud. By the way, she gave me a wonderful art book filled with important and meaningful dates in the history of art that took place in 1978. She herself doesn’t quite know why she chose this particular book, but something inside told her it was exactly the right one. And indeed, the book turned out to be truly magical—and, as an artist, deeply inspiring and educational for me.

Kate is an open, kind, and goal-oriented person. She is beautiful both inside and out. Her wisdom, sense of style, and full, meaningful life—with dreams and aspirations—always move her forward. She creates an atmosphere of sincerity that transforms everything around her, shifting its tone and making it more welcoming.

Kate is a mother to a teenage son who is already quite grown. I learn from her how to remain present as a parent in the eyes of an adult child, without losing connection with the real world and while staying in the flow of contemporary life. I look to her as a point of reference for my own future, learning how to become a steady beacon for a growing child—someone they can trust completely while still feeling free. I see how Kate does this, and so I learn from her.

Audrey Hepburn was right: I often meet women whose beauty blossoms over time. I consider myself lucky—I drew a fortunate ticket in life: the chance to meet amazing people, kind and interesting, with living souls filled with happiness and an unconditional love for life.

This ticket opens doors for me into a world of communication, inspiration, mutual care and friendship, as well as sincere joy for one another—without a trace of judgment.

Kate, thank you for this wonderful meeting, for the gift, the walk, and the warm photoshoot filled with joy!
